Donate Now Stand Up (Paddle Board) for the Rail Trail

Posted on June 28, 2017

On Saturday, July 15th two young women and longtime friends will meet up again in their hometown to 'Stand Up for the Trail', that is, to Stand Up Paddle Board the shoreline of Kalamalka Lake alongside the rail trail to raise funds for trail construction.

Kristin Postill and Brittney Page have set a lofty goal of $50,000 to raise in only 2 weeks, but they are used to aiming high - and succeeding!  Brittney has played professional volleyball all over the world, and led the Canadian National Women’s team for two cycles.  Kristin spent many years as a professional equestrian show jumper, and is now working as an advertising professional in New York City.

Being true Okanagan girls, protecting public space that will encourage activity and further love for our valley is incredibly important to them both.

Please visit their "Stand Up for the Trail" fundraising site to show your support for the girls!
