Over 400 trail enthusiasts turned out to try out the 1km completed trail test section on a hot morning in July, and to see ‘their’ metres of donations put to work.  The overwhelming response was that the test section exceeded expectations! One woman remarked, “I got more than expected from my donation!”

Visitors were thankful for the jurisdictional collaboration working to create this regional legacy, and for the donors, campaign partners and business partners who have come on board to make it happen.  Now that construction has begun, trail users are jazzed to see more progress and finish the trail!
