Pedestrians and cyclists are welcome to explore the completed sections of the Okanagan Rail Trail – a continuous, minimal grade corridor with some of the valley’s most scenic features and waterfront access that connects communities across the Okanagan.
Plan your experience: The interactive GIS map displays kilometre marker points, parking (with lot capacity notations), washroom/porta-potty facilities and will continue to be updated as interpretive sites and special features are developed. Please respect the undeveloped sections of the corridor which are closed to the public as displayed in red on the map.
The section of the Okanagan Rail Trail from Kelowna International Airport (YLW) south to the Kelowna waterfront has a paved surface, while the section of the trail from Beaver Lake Rd in Lake Country to Coldstream has a crushed aggregate surface. Use the trail respectfully, carry your own water and pack out what you bring in.
